I'm supposed to be going to the UK a week tomorrow flying into East midlands, going to the theatre in Birmingham on the Saturday and flying back from East Midlands on the Monday (23rd)

I've seen a few comments on facebook that snow has been forecast?

As much as I want to go for my girly weekend I don't fancy being stuck there and not getting back to Spain for Christmas! :roll:

Anyone know or heard anything before I book my flights please. xx

Alarm bells rung as my friend in Vietnam is going to visit her parents in Chesterfield and heavy snow has been forecast.

How do they know the weather so far in advance?

The forecasts say heavy rain and gales.

My forecast says to get ready for a huge downfall of snow. They are expecting Britain to come to a standstill by the middle of next week, Birmingham being particularly badly affected. They have got the armed forces on red alert.

Ouch - my nose hit the screen with such force then it really hurt. :lol:
