Hello and good morning you two and everyone

Ally, hope you get everything done that needs doing! x
Cruiser, just being curious, but if you have a drive why don't you park your car their all the time?

A work from home day for me today - yay. Was at the allotment at 6am to water, back home and front garden watered and a load of washing hung up and dithering if I should get another load on. I'm hoping it's a quiet day workwise today so I can stop for a few minutes every so often and move a few things at a time off the patio onto the lawn, to the side of the house. I've got tomorrow off and it'll be too hot to do much in the way of gardening so may as well make the most of the weather and pressure wash the patio and front foot path    One way to keep cool.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Sunny now, after a grey start. Much cooler at 30C :Hi:

Watering done, I had a lie-in, which was lovely :Hi:

Just been chatting to a friend. Her husband has been ill for quite a while and was taken to Portimao and then Faro Hospital last week. Yesterday was air-lifted to Lisbon and has had a major heart op. Left surgery at 2.00am this morning and is now sedated and on a ventilator. Poor Debby is stuck down here, no point her going up. As she said, nothing she can do, except get in the way. She'll head up once he's awake.

I will get the cleaning out of the way this morning and Grumpy has a small list of little jobs I want doing.

Will see what the rest of the day brings.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a gorgeous day here and looks like the next few days are going to be good too - with normal service resuming as we head to Portrush next week  I stripped the bed when I got up and now the sheets are washed and out on the line. Not too much planned for the day. My sister and I are going to a Concert for Gaza this evening, it’s in the pub next door so very handy for me! All proceeds are going to Médecins sans Frontières and it is sold out. Some well known Irish performers are taking part so it should be a good evening.

Morning all :D

Sunny and hot 8-)

It's such a lovely day so we're planning a walk along the seafront down to the harbour this afternoon. I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker so I haven't got to do much when we get back home, I'm usually too cream crackered to start doing dinner. At least this way it will just need dishing up this evening 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
In a mo I'm off to screwfix for a hose extension for the pressure washer. We have a hosepipe ban from tomorrow so I need it today.
A lovely day here.
Wish I was at the coast Jen, it would be a little cooler, I think.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's very hot here today! We had a bit of a night of it, as poor Daisy was ill (d&v :( ) and B was up with her all night, napping in the living room with the patio doors open to let her in and out. We were so worried about Daze, but this morning she was as perky as ever, so whatever it was has disappeared as quickly as it came on. We're starving her for 24 hours, then moving on to fresh chicken and rice - like we used to when Pepper was ill.

We went to Tesco, as usual on a Thursday, and are taking it easy now. Not going to Pilates, it will be baking in that hall tonight.

Love to all xxx
