Good morning Wednesday

Good morning.

Sunny and hot! 8-)

What a fantastic couple of days away we had and we've found our new house! :cute:

It's Don's 65th birthday today. No idea how that happened but happy to say it has.

Craig, Jacob, Conor, Ella, Phil and Carla are getting the train back from Granada late morning.

They're then heading over to ours along with Inma and I've booked tables for lunch under huge parasols at Gambrinus. :cute:

I can't wait to watch Don's face when he finds out his gift from the boys.

The three Nottingham peeps flight home is ten pm and they'll get a taxi to the airport.

No doubt the rest of us will go back to ours for a kitchen disco.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Pleasantly cool this morning 8-)

Happy Birthday to Don :Hi: :Hi:

House details please :D

Watering done - I had a big debate with some-one yesterday, who said I should be watering at night, so the plants would have the benefit of water overnight. I always water in the morning, when the ground is cool. Can't see the point of watering when the soil is hot, the water would evaporate. So we agreed to differ

Pamper ish day for me :Hi: Normal tootsies done this morning, then I'll do the supermarkets, back for a quick bite and then meeting a friend, as we're off to Santana de Serra, for a massage each :Hi:

No idea what time I'll be back, we might stop for a beer on the way back.

Grumpy will be staying here, as Artur will be here sometime, the sort out the pool pump.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
Lovely and sunny here today.
Congrats on finding the house Ally and happy birthday to Don.
Not much on today at this end, something will turn up.
The car is looking the worse for wear due to dust and pigeons, so might ut that through the car wash.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it looks like a second fine day in a row! I put the last holiday wash load out on the line last night and they seem to be blowing about quite happily. Edward’s phone problem didn’t really get sorted out yesterday, the Apple tech guy said he hadn’t come across it before. He’s now researching getting a new one. He has a dental check up this morning (the dentist said to me yesterday that he hadn’t seen Edward in two years so I made an appointment there and then, presented Edward with a fait accompli ;) ) He is going to walk there I think, as we are expecting an Amazon delivery at some stage - some years ago Miss Osc and SIL gave us a digital photo frame for Christmas which we love, so when it died completely recently, we ordered a new one, and that is being delivered today. I also need to take out some money, and buy birthday cards for my grand niece and grand nephew in Cork. One of my nieces will be 50 at the end of the month, so I need to think about a present for her, my sister is talking about a joint present but I don’t want to do that, we would find it hard to agree on something and have very different tastes. In the meantime, I have a pile of ironing awaiting my attention so better get on with it.

Crommers, our car is covered in seagull poo, we just keep washing it off ourselves as going through the car wash is a waste of money, it’s just as bad the next day

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Ally good news about the house, hope it all goes smoothly.
Jan I've always watered in the evening, but as Kaz says the plants won't mind when you do it.
Crommers I've given up on using a car wash, like Osc I find it's just as easy to do it myself.

Loved the film yesterday, not sure what it says about us though, it was very violent

Need to pop out for bananas and more salad bits, think we'll drive over to Waitrose, leave the car there and have a good walk around the harbour. It's a perfect day for it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s quite cloudy and humid. Breezy too.

I’m waiting for someone to come and replace Joe’s chipped windscreen. Why he couldn’t have had them come to his work to do it I’ll never know. He sent me a tracker this morning and there were details on it about prepping the car before the job is done. In red it said to remove the dashcam, so I texted him to ask if he’d done that and he hadn’t so I’ve had to do it. And the tracker isn’t working for either of us, it just keeps going back to the start page when you put the details in, so all I know is that it’s going to be sometime between 12 and 5.
I hate having to deal with anything car related, if they ask questions I haven’t a clue unless they want to know the colour.

John’s just texted to say he’s going out after work as the company president from the US is over. I won’t bother with dinner in that case as it’ll probably be 8ish when he gets back and I don’t want to still be cooking then. Joe’s going to Jade’s so it was only going to be the two of us for dinner so I’ll do me a jacket potato and John can have a sandwich when he gets home.

Good news about the house Al!

Have a good day all :)

Windscreen done, he said he could’ve repaired it even though the people in the hut on Morrison’s car park said it wasn’t repairable. Joe opted to have it replaced though.
