I was in a bit of a rush this mornig as I wanted to get an earlier bus to Chorley. Meeting freinds fr a coffee.
Found I had lost my bank card. So when I got back to Wigan I wentto my bank--Nationwide, and had the ebit card cancelled. They alowed me to withdraw
some cash. Myonly identification was my bus pass.
Found my card when I got home. I had used it to lopg on to my bank account and not replaced it in my wallet.

When I was young used to get the young leaves off hawthorn and eat them. There used to be several long hedge rows full of the white blosom.

We had a dreadful journey, lashing it down strong winds, but a lovely, Ukrainian driver, who spoke a little English, so we spoke in Portuguese By heck though, she was doing 170kmp up the motorway

Grumpy has been given the all clear

The lovely doc checked him over again, as it was an aggressive cancer, but all okay and see him in another year. Make an appointment if we see anything odd appearing.

Lunch at the Palma was lambs liver and onions. Lush

Well, no SW meeting for me this morning, as I had a hospital appointment in Cheltenham - I will put a post on the Health board. Afterwards we nipped round to see my friend Em, then round to D's. Marvellous news for our family landed this afternoon! I will put that on here elsewhere
