Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 14 Apr 2025, 06:10

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 26°. 8-)

Inma's driving back from Jaen around 7 this evening and will pick nurse Jacob up  and they'll head home.

Don and Conor are due to land around midnight tonight.
Although their team lost they had a fantastic time and at least they got promoted last week. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally and Ria, we have sunshine after a grey day yesterday.

John and Joe have left for work so it’s just me and Georgie boy for the day. He’s currently fighting with a Kong which has a smearing of peanut butter in it.

Me and Joe are suffering with hayfever at the moment. There’s so much pollen in the air though, the bin lids are covered in it and I don’t remember seeing it like that before.

Al, I thought of Don and Conor when I heard the result. It’s a shame that the Blues didn’t win and while a trophy at Wembley would’ve been nice, promotion is the big one! Really pleased to see them going back up.

Have a good day all :D

Morning everyone

Sun and clouds and a little cooler.

I'm going to ignore the weather forecasts and the washing is already out. More to come.

Jo, both suffering here a bit more than normal too. But we have the estavas out in flower, that always sets me off

Will strim the drive - again - and get more weeding done.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Photos of the coffee morning on my timeline, on fb, if any-one interested.

Morning all, it’s a dull grey day here, but we are very happy because of Rory’s great win last night. We stayed up until the very end and a bit after, so it was a late one. I decided last night that I wouldn’t go to my class this morning so I could have a lie on and I’m still in my dressing gown. My friend in Florida was going out to dinner and wanted to be kept updated, my friend in NZ was somewhere in the South Island in a caravan and no tv, so I was passing it all on as it happened, also texting with Miss Osc and my sister so the internet was busy! So so pleased for Rory, he deserved to make golfing history. I’ll have my shower soon(ish) and am pottering around putting the few final bits in our case - we will head off to Dundalk after lunch for our 2 night dance break. I’m trying to avoid “going in the car” syndrome and not bring too much

Good afternoon.
A sunny day here but not over warm.
We are being pigeon swarmed here. Someone down the road cut their conifers down and the sodding things have relocated to the mature trees over the road.
Great win for McIlroy. I thought Rose was gracious in defeat, too.
Our daughter's clan have gone for the seaside until next Friday, hopefully the weather holds up for them.
Congratulations on starting the new job Ria!
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We had a lovely lunch at Champers yesterday, yummy yummy. We both had the red snapper with mashed yam, veg and a slightly spicy sauce. I've never had yam before so was a bit worried I wouldn't like it, but it's just like a thicker creamy mashed potato and was delicious. Afterwards we went to Crystal Waters, such a good vibe up there.

Back to the beach today 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

All the very best for your new job Ria! :D xx

The pollen is terrible at the moment Jo :? xx

Will have a look at those photos Jan :D xx

I hope you treated yourself to that Easter egg Cruiser ;) xx

Have a fantastic time Osc :D .xx

Hope the family enjoy the seaside Crommers :) xx

That does sound tasty Jen :) xx

I've been in town with Em. First I had a few minutes on the sunbed in the salon in town - much needed as my psoriasis really plays up at this time of year. It's the long winters I guess  I bought a new dress in Peacocks, then a top in the sale in River Island.

Love to all :) xx
