Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 13 Apr 2025, 06:12

Good morning.

Gorgeous sunshine and forecast 27°. 8-)

Don and Conor had a great journey over yesterday.
Today they're on a 9am coach to Wembley. They'll meet up with Ed for a pint or two before the match. :D
I'll pin the game on my phone and keep an eye on the score. KRO!

Here, on a quieter side of the planet, I'll be hanging out with twin 1.
Jacob's going to make us a pizza for lunch and we'll watch something on Netflix tonight. Perfect. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit grey, but mild. Might get showers, might not. 21C for us.

After some debate, today has been declared a no work day :Hi: I cleared over half of the garden yesterday, getting rid of the weeds which are difficult to strim and my back is more than happy with that decision.

We'll go into Ourique, as we need money for diesel and also for taking us out to lunch :Hi:

I'll marinade the pork we were supposed to have and have that for tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.
It was obly 14C when I got up with a grey sky. But the sun is out but there is a cool brezee. May spend some more time in thegarden. Have still some weeds to get rid of. There ios one which seems to spread very quickly. I am going to buy some professional weedkiller to see if I can stop it growing.

Have got plenty to do inside. A plumber is comingon Tuesday to fit a new towel rail in the bathroom and alter some pioe work.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, looks nice out there. Busy today packing to go away tomorrow, and Edward wants to teach me a new dance, so we’ll do that this afternoon. It’ll be golf all the way this evening as Rory McIlroy tries to win his first ever Masters. I went to bed at 10.30 last night but Edward stuck it out until the end around midnight. If Rory looks like he might win, I might have to stay up late tonight myself!

Good morning everyone.

It is turning out nice again, but the temperature is down a few degrees compared to the last week or so.

I am doing another wardrobe clear-out; this time of winter things. Goodness knows why I don't get rid of stuff at the same time as I buy replacements. Anyway, a charity shop run is on the cards.

Enjoy your day... xx

Afternoon all, it’s grey, much cooler and we’ve had rain :(

George has just been for his first walk. We went further than we thought we would, going right around the block when we only expected to go to the green around the corner and back. He met Andrew who lives over the road and Neil next door. He also saw Wendy from two doors away walking behind us with her dog so he sat and waited for them to catch up and made friends with the dog.

Joe’s currently driving to Newcastle for the away game. His friend Ryan’s had my ticket, I didn’t fancy such a long drive in one day plus the away end is awful there. The joke said about it is that you get a great workout climbing 14 flights of stairs and you have a better view of Norway than the pitch once you’re in your seat

Steak pie and veg for lunch today :D

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

No beach for us today, we always like to treat ourselves to somewhere nice for Sunday lunch. Partly it's a good excuse, but also because the beach can get a bit crowded with all the locals off work for the day. It's Champers again for their pre fixe lunch menu, absolutely yummy. Afterwards we'll probably drive along to Crystal Waters, enjoy the music and stay to watch the sunset.

Hope you all have a good day xx
