It
feels miserable here in Dorset; it
seems much colder than the temperature probably is.
We inherited a special sort of foam insulation in the loft when we bought this place, and whilst it's supposed to trap warm air, it seems it happily traps cold air too.
We've upped the central heating thermostat setting to 21 from 19 to ensure it "comes on", and we've used it most evenings over the last week.
The long-sleeved jumper is now being regularly worn and I'll shortly be putting away my summer sleeveless gilet in favour of the traditional winter anorak.
The scarf has already come out for the footie and it's only mid-September ....
