Yes Perendev was partly TIC....
It is not a perpetual motion machine because it reduces the magnetic capacity of the magnets as it turns. About 400 years with Neodymium magnets but, still, not perpetual motion.
Power? That's the issue and nobody has an answer.
There is something I came across today, it is an outgrowth of heat pumps which produces power by sucking in cold water from around 1,000 feet below sea level and uses the heat differential of 20c or more to generate power. Interesting concept and some demo projects have been done. However it is going nowhere right now. I suspect it would be massively more effective by providing a multiplier to solar or wind or both together.
Lots of avenues we haven't even looked at yet.
