on Wednesday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Ria isn't bothering with too many clothes - the suitcase is going to be stuffed with goodies we can't get here :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Stilton, proper bacon......

And then, of course, the lovely Ria herself :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Mum flies over with Jet2 which has a 22kg allowance. One case has hers and dads clothes for their holiday and the other is just crammed with goodies for us. :Hi:

Thank goodness I have a successive stream of visitors who always kindly bring delights.

Of course the goodies are a bonus!

it's the same when I go to Germany, the stuff I take over from here and then again what I bring back. 1/3 space for clothing and 2/3 space for the goodies

but it's huge fun

We used to take a suitcase full of chocolate to the US, usually Roses and Quality St, whenever we visited the family in Niagara Falls. One case would contain our clothes, the other chocolate. Weight restrictions were more generous back in the 80s and 90s though.
