There's a chicken casserole in the slow cooker, the washing's on the line and when John gets up Billy will have his walk. Actually he needs to get up too
Good morning JoM You were one minute before Ally posted so I am posting on yours. Blue sky and much warmer. May not need the Ch on today. Just pottering. Have a good day everybody.
Oh that's nice Ally, hope you have a great time with them Thanks for the anniversary wishes xx
Morning all
We are having a quiet day, no B as she went to her dad's yesterday for a few days. We'll nip out for the papers in a while, then snuggle in for a cosy day I've bought steak for later, so that's dinner taken care of
Dull, grey but warm ish. And dry, for the moment, although more wet stuff on it's way. massive thunderstorms yesterday - we kept the shutters open to watch the sky lighting up - superb it was
Staying in today - can't get outside to do anything on the garden, too wet. At least we have the GP to watch later.
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
Morning, it's very dark and gloomy here, although dry and noticeably milder. No plans for the day. I need to take up a pair of jeans and also knit the second little mitten for Kellie, did one last night, it looks so cute I'll get in a bit of a walk too. Enjoy Sunday everyone
Well no progress outside after all yesterday, Drew arrived but his workmate was a no show and it's too much for one on his own, Chris the boss was tied up with his children, so it's all been postponed until tomorrow
We're off over the road to our local for lunch today, we've had lots of meals over there but not Sunday lunch. It's supposed to be very good, we'll see, thought we'd try it out before taking any of the family over there.
Afternoon all woke early to blue sky and sunshine Made myself tea and toast Then a friend rang we had an hour on the phone Now I'm finally down stairs to start my day Happy aniversay kaz enjoy your day In fact I hope you all have a good day
How frustrating Jen, to be so close but seeing such little progress being made. Fingers crossed for tomorrow then!
Billy led us on a lovely long walk Lots of squirrels needed chasing up trees this morning.
I've picked up the leaves from next door's trees off the back lawn - again. We do have a rake but the lawn's quite fragile and sparse where the leaves fall and raking it turns it to mud.
