Mick forgot the kit kats although it wouldn't have mattered as by the time he got home the chocolate bars had stuck fast to the icing so I am going to have to leave it as it is.

He says it looks fine - and at least I had the sense to put the two smaller bars opposite each other. But it will bug me.

I know this is wrong, but....... ;)

When I opened the OP all I got was the text. So, when I scrolled I got all of the first picture plus the first couple of lines of text.

And this is what I read: :o :shock:
I knew it would be difficult to top L's rainbow cake but fortunately S wanted something different. She didn't care what but wanted something chocolatey.

So I made a chocolate sponge covered in chocolate fudge buttercream icing.


Then the picture of the cake.......................................

And I thought "I know S wanted something different and didn't care, but WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" :shock: :shock: :shock:

I had not read
Here it is waiting to be decorated.

and I didn't realise that there was another pic of the finished cake. :oops: :oops: :oops:
