Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Sunny but with a chilly breeze. Warming up to 34C later.

I was out early this morning and have finished weeding the bank :Hi: :Hi: Another four barrow loads  All I have to do not is cut back the ice plants and then strim. The strimming can wait

Steve will be coming up later to do some more plumbing for us - he didn't want payment yesterday, just ate a load of samosas

BBQ later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s pretty grey here but at least it is dry. We are going to Miss Osc’s for dinner as it is Father’s Day - it will just be herself and Kellie as SIL is bringing Michael and his boy cousins to see the astronaut Chris Hadfield. Michael is not impressed as he is missing darts and golf but I’ve been telling him how interesting Chris Hadfield is so hopefully he will open up his teenage mind and enjoy it!

Edward is selling his pedal steel guitar and we put it on FB Marketplace. Someone is coming to see it today - I think he’ll probably buy it as he is driving up from Wexford and we have confirmed the price. Edward just wants to cover the cost of a new instrument he has bought, an electronic wind instrument - when he was young he played the euphonium, but wasn’t able to play the trumpet or saxophone as he had problems playing a reed instrument. This will allow him to produce the sound of reed instruments. The leader of one of the bands on the ship played one, Edward had a good chat with him about it and has ordered a basic model, it’s coming from Germany and will hopefully be here on Monday. I’ve been assured that he will be able to plug in his headphones when playing ;) Of course getting the steel guitar ready to go has meant a rearrangement of downstairs and involved cleaning and dusting  All done now, and Michael has just messaged that he is going to pop over and see us (and watch darts with Grandad). I’d better hop in the shower!

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

We're having a quiet day, roast chicken with salad for dinner, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud. We'll open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate Father's Day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

Happy Father's Day to the VV dad's :) Becky bought Mick a funny Stepdad card from her, and a "pet dad" one from Daisy  That girl is bonkers - no idea where she gets it from :P ;) xx

It's warm but cloudy here. We're been out, seen D, I've stripped and remade our bed, and got the washed set out on the line, and cooked a late lunch. Lamb leg steaks cooked on my new skillet pan - they were nice and juicy - baby new potatoes and loads of veg. We had a choc ice for pudding 8-) xx

Love to all :) xx

Good afternoon.
Yesterday and today we have had Eliza and Ethan. Ethan is six months old this week and has his first tooth through.
I had forgotten how much work babies are! Also how much kit is needed for them. MrsC is shattered.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.
