Also making pasty-s for tonight.

Lazy afternoon, I think ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

Only 17C when I got up. We have had more rain. There are still grey clouds so we may have some more.

Just another day of pootling. Got to get the house spick and span for when my grand-daughter comes next week.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello and good morning you three and everyone

Ally, non stop family / party time for you - so special and such fun! Enjoy xx
Jan, 30 is a lovely temperature. Enjoy the planting and then enjoy the lazy afternoon.
Cruiser, I know I've said it before but I'll say it again - I think it's so lovely that you have such a close connection with your granddaughter. I never really got to know my grandparents because of distance. Good luck with the pootling and cleaning.

Woke up to rain, and apparently it's here to stay for today and most of tomorrow and not getting much warmer than 18, if that. The garden can do with the rain, so I'm not complaining, but it would be nice if it were a bit warmer. Another WFH day for me - yay. Vet appointment at 11.15 for Ava but that's about it.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s pouring down.

I’m just having my first coffee and I’m scoffing down the remains of a packed of Malted Milk biscuits. What a morning, so far! We’ve appointed an estate agent so she’d arranged to come and measure up at 9am and had booked the photographer to come at 9.30. Yesterday was spent sorting out the house, cleaning yet more carpets, washing and ironing cushion covers…making it just so for the photos. That just left a quick clean of the bathrooms, beds to straighten, a hoover through and the kitchen floor to be mopped this morning. It sounds easy enough but put a 6 month old puppy into the equation and it’s not. Still, I got it all done only for him to take a shine to the photographer when she arrived and then have the zoomies all through the house (imagine a face palm emoji here).

The rest of my day will be spent catching up on some TV! I missed Race Across The World last night.

Lovely to see you Saundra x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Overcast, windy, and we've already had showers

We had a lovely walk round the harbour yesterday, there are still a few little ships docked there, but most of them have returned to their homes. The weather behaved nicely for us, it didn't start to rain until we got back, just got in the front door without getting wet. So glad we didn't put it off till today.

No plans, just bits and bobs around the house.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning.
Grey here; not cold, but raining.
Just dropped MrsC and her sister off in town. We were late setting off. MrsC came downstairs in a cream jacket and trousers with a white blouse.
"Are you opening the batting?" says sister. MrsC goes back upstairs, a little grumpily, to get changed.
That sounds like hard work Jo. The zoomies bit made me smile.
Hello Saundra, have a hug back.
Waiting in now for a couple of deliveries.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :) xx

More family fun then, Al :Hi: :Hi: xx

30° does sound lovely Jan  :) xx

That will be nice Cruiser :) xx

We've finally got some decent rain today, Ria! :D Much needed here. Hope Ava is ok? xx

Hi Saundra! :D xx

 Jo! The joys of dogs  I'm sure the house will look fantastic in the photos 8-) xx

Glad it stayed fine for your walk, Jen :) xx

That did make me smile, Crommers :D ;) xx

As mentioned, it's a wet day here - that sort of persistent, gentle rain that soaks in nicely! Just what we need here, everything is sooo dry, even the trees have been shedding leaves :? My brown lawn might even green up

As per, on a Thursday, we took D toTesco earlier. Now got some washing on, but it can go on the airer as it's wet outside. Pilates tonight.

Hope everyone is having a good day xx
