Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 04 Jun 2025, 07:13

Morning everyone

A calm morning, after yesterday-s wind, although the forecast is for more wind and 25C.

I-m off to Castro Verde market this morning. Not been for years, but need a couple of things. Going with friends, rather than Grumpy, which will make me stay a little longer, rather than doing a route march through and back home within 10 minutes

I-ll do the supermarkets and chemists on the way back.

A very late breakfast, then I will strim down the drive. The banks can wait until later this week.

Favas for dinner. I had to peel them all, as last time the skin was too tough. Our fault, for leaving them in the ground longer than we should. Blame the weather

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning JanB and anybody else wh is up.

It is 17C this morning and the sun is trying to come out. We have had more rain and there are still some grey clouds.

I am justpootling today. Lots of dusting and polishing. Will also use the vacuum cleaner on the carpets.
JanB, It sounds as if you will have a busy day.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning.

Hot. Add on 10° to your temps Jan.

I have to say yesterday was up there as one of the best family days ever. :D
We were still in kitchen disco mode at 3am.

I think it's a given Craig is having a fabulous birthday holiday. :cute:

A lazy day, as requested, by the pool.

Out tonight to the Thai restaurant. Again, as requested.
No complaints here.

Have a great day.

Hello and good morning everyone

Ally, belated happy birthday to Craig - enjoy the ongoing family time / celebrations and shenanigans
Jan, enjoy Castro Verde and the rest of your busy day
Cruiser, have fun pootling

Similar weather here to what Cruiser reports... a WHF day for me so a usual/usual with nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all :D

Bright right now, but rain's forecast.

Need to pop out for more bananas and salad bits, hoping to add a walk round the harbour, but that depends on the weather.

Hope you all have a good day xx

A successful morning :Hi:

I was very restrained   and only bought four plants and a Fagus Sylvatica, which will look stunning in the garden.

But by the time we-d had a mooch, a chat, a coffee and then I went into Ourioque, I-ve only just had breakfast and sat down

The strimming can wait until tomorrow, I need a rest
