Gorgeous sunrise and forecast 21°.

Sis and Mark live in the Dordogne region and distance wise not far at all...but goodness me it's cold there.

It was -1 yesterday morning when we left at 6.30am for the airport. There was actually frost on the ground... something I haven't seen for 20 years.

I got off the plane into my beloved Spanish warmth.

My flight home was fab. I could see directly down to Madrid and nerdy Norma was delighted to spot the airport and watch a plane taking off. It was like being a drone.

It was only an 85 minute flight. So quick and easy as no passport control or faffing.

I had such a wonderful time with Michele and was so happy to be with her for her special birthday.
She'd made me a wee sandwich to eat on the plane and inside had written a little letter thanking me for being with her and she'd loved it.
My eyes leaked.

I'm having a day lying in the garden reading.

Tonight we're getting a Chinese takeaway and catching up with missed TV starting with last Sunday's Endeavour.

Have a great day.
