Another warm one here, none of the forecast rain for overnight and this morning has materialised so I'm off out now to walk Billy before doing some shopping.

I'm doing things topsy turvy today.

I've had my swim and coffee first - I'm being crazy and going for a run this afternoon. Testing my stamina.

We're going to a friends BBQ early evening.

Dull, grey and feels rather cool at 19C this morning Will brighten up later

Grumpy prepping the ground, ready for the lecky to go in, I'll head off and do the watering and a little gardening.

Off to Ourique this afternoon, need salt for the pool, hope to pick up Grumpy's test results, then onto the library and then to Pingo.

Back home - no pit-stop - and salmon for dinner.

Ally, take it steady this afternoon. it won't be that hot in Norway.

Lovely and sunny here

E says we had thunder and lightening sometime in the night, I didn't hear a thing and there's certainly no sign of it now. I know it was really bad down in Cornwall, hope it wasn't too bad where you all live.

Check up went smoothly at the dentist thank goodness, can forget all about it for another six months or so

Off out for coffee this morning, quite sore so I've dosed myself up with anti inflammatories and painkillers and hope that does the trick. Can't remember if I told you, the ankle xray results came back and it's arthritis, the receptionist said there's nothing to be done, just keep taking the pills

Ally I meant to tell you, my friend A was in Norway a couple of weeks ago, on a cruise (she used to work for P&O and still gets special rates) and the weather was baking!!!!! She had packed for cool weather but came home brown as a berry! Her tan looked amazing yesterday!

I am going out with Emma today, on a hunt for the sandals she saw the other day! They are Skechers, so we'll start with the outlet shop in the Quays but might need to go to Cheltenham! Before that I have beds to strip, and ours to remake. It looks sunny here now after overnight rain

Six years today since I lost my lovely dad. Sometimes it seems like yesterday, other times it seems forever since xx

We really have no idea what the weather will be in Norway in August Kaz - we'll have to pack shorts and vests in case it's hot, cool weather trousers for medium heat and waterproof stuff in case it rains!

Bearing in mind every single thing we pack in our rucksacks we have to climb with as we'll be going to a different hotel every night.

Getting really excited now!

thinking of Gal this morning - fingers crossed for the scans etc
We had quite a thunderstorm during the night - started about midnight and it was continuous lightening and mainly low rumbling thunder and rain for about and hour and a bit. Cooler today but quite muggy

usual work day for me and then home but popping right out again to pick up a garden table someone was giving away. I have a very small one with very small chairs in the front garden at the moment (given to me by the previous tenant from upstairs as she was moving into a flat), and dare I say the chairs are rather narrow so a bit of a tight squeeze . Someone was giving away an old but really good condition set the other day and I managed to nab it. Got the chairs already but the table wouldn't fit into my car so my brother is helping me with the people carrier.
