Hazy this morning, but getting hotter every day.

A delivery of blocks is going on at the moment so walls will be going up by the look of it

Gentle pootling after our friends have left, which won't be until lunch-time ish.

Morning everyone I've been awake for aaaages, Mick's phone made a funny pinging noise which woke me up and disturbed the dogs, so I was making tea at 6am However it is a beautiful day, and I've a mind to take a leisurely wander into town, something I haven't done for a while The garden is starting to look nice and summery, the begonias I planted last week are bedding in nicely, thanks to all the sun and rain we've had. All I need now are a few herb plants, I'll pick some up at the weekend. Harry is coming tomorrow for the weekend - he did his final Duke of Edinburgh activity this week, and overnight on Tuesday, so he'll be getting his award this year

Morning all

Bright and sunny at the moment.

We enjoyed the film yesterday, lots of action, just the way we like it.

There's a big Jewson's lorry outside delivering more blocks/bricks, things are moving along quite nicely.

We're off out for the usual weekly shop after brekkie, M&S and Tesco. No other plans at the moment.

It's sunny here now, but rain is forecast for this afternoon.
I'm not going out far this morning. I'm in the middle of sorting out and re-categorising
my CD collection. That will keep me quiet.

Well I certainly caught the best of the day by going out early! It was glorious out and about this morning, I went into town and got my hair cut, nice and short and layered (looks really nice!) had a mooch around and got some new sandals from BHS for the funeral next week (Thursday) then bought a couple of nice takeaway sandwiches in M&S and walked up to D's to have lunch with her. It's clouding over now, and the breeze has got chilly, so I'm glad I went out early
