More space junk!

A crew of five females is to go into space on Monday. They are mostly 'luvvies' and will not be classed as astronauts just space tourists. It is a PR stunt, nothing more, but one of them might sing us a song.

Ah well, at least this junk will return to Earth unlike a lot of the stuff Jeff, Elon and others chuck up there.

I saw It all, and what nonsense that Katy Perry came out with It was nauseating

I've been trying to ignore it. We came over from France on Thursday, took in a show in London on Friday night and went on the Pullman to Bath on Saturday. Drove north from London on Sunday and visited Costco on Monday so I've been able to avoid most of it.

Starship will be human certified within a decade and will start throwing people at Mars, 100 at a time. Once that happens all this silly "punting people over the Karman line" so they can call themselves Astronauts will stop.

Until then I will continue to ignore this stuff. It just rots the brain. Especially the real drivel about how Blue is challenging Elon and SpaceX with this. They just embarrass themselves. Blue is rivalling SpaceX but with New Glenn and it will be a decade before they reach real high cadence. Good though it is that doesn't make it rivalry.
