Another lovely morning here - apart from the prat who has a bonfire going

Up early, well, early for us as we're meeting Di and Bb in Olhao later this morning

After that - we'll see what the day brings

Mick and I are having an 'us' weekend - up late (we've just had brekkie in bed) out for some lunch and a wander in the sunshine later, probably popping to see D for half an hour, then sitting in the garden later with a bottle of something, we got a few little gardening tasks done yesterday evening so no work to do out there Tomorrow hopefully more of the same....................

Lovely, bright and sunny here

I was able to get mother back to the CH yesterday just in time for her lunch which was good. Everyone made a big fuss of her which was nice. She really had no idea what she'd been in hospital for and settled in very quickly. The only problem was my fault, because the hospital rang sooner than expected and I was dealing with the decorator, I completely forgot to take her handbag with me so had to drive back over in the afternoon. She was happily sitting in the lounge chatting to some of the other residents, honestly I think for her it's as though nothing's happened. Fingers crossed that's it now.

We've had a nice lie in, all the decorating is now finished hurrah Popping out for the papers shortly before a leisurely brekkie. After that it's operation tidy up. We're going to tackle upstairs today, leaving down here until tomorrow, pacing ourselves seems a good plan.

Another lovely day with Di and Bb

Met them in Olhao, had wander around, as you do all the markets, then back here, drop the car off and down to Nizette's for lunch

Bb very kindly treated us again xx and we've just waved them off on the train, back to Cabanas.

It really was lovely meeting them both and we knew we'd get on, even better that we all did Yes, even Grumpy

Afternoon all, lovely day here at last, and I was up and in the shower by 9am, felt much better after some decent sleep last night. I've spent some time sitting in the sun, got too hot in the end and had to come in. My sister called, so I gave her her very unexciting birthday pressie, and arranged for her to bring me to the supermarket on Monday. We've been watching a little bit of the cycling, and are just about to go for a walk before the football starts at 5pm - I didn't feel up to a walk yesterday.

So glad Di and Bb and Ton and Grumpy have had such a lovely time getting to know each other Enjoy the sunshine everyone

Good afternoon all! It's so warm and sunny here. I went to the gym first thing and was so glad to get a shower when I got home, then the man came to collect the bike which he bought from us on Ebay last week, such a lovely man! After that we walked Billy but kept entirely to the woods to keep him cool. After lunch we went to the green grocers in town to get some plants for the pots so they're all tidy now. The side lawn has been cut, the borders dug over and the car has been cleaned too. Oh, and I've given the front door, step and all of that a clean and swept all paths and patio.

Tonight we'll pop to see my parents, don't really want to go because their house is like a sauna, they don't open windows or doors in hot weather and it's so uncomfortable and if you ask them if they'd mind opening one the patio door gets opened ever so slightly and not enough to make a difference. Not really in the mood to sit around watching tv either.

Ton, so glad you all had such a lovely time!

Afternoon
Back at the apt now with a cuppa - we stopped in town for more water and an ice cream, once we could decide from 25 flavours

We have had such a lovely time with Ton, yes and even Grumpy too Photos have been taken

The river here is amazing, it's tidal; this morning people were walking on the riverbed digging for bait, and right now at high tide it's about 10ft deep
Bit of a rest then out for a drink and decide where to eat
