An email I received

Postby JoM » 16 May 2014, 14:36

I was on the treadmill this morning when my phone beeped and I checked my emails. I got a little bit watery eyed at this right in the middle of the gym! It's from the head of English who also teaches Tom for his Eng Lang A/AS Level. Isn't it lovely? I've had to print it out to give him when he gets home because if I try to read it to him I'll start blubbing and 17 year old boys don't want their Moms blubbing all over them...

Dear Mrs McDonnell

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with Tom and the progress he has made this year in English Language.

I sent his coursework off the other day at a high A grade and he has been achieving B and A grades in his exam work also.

I am so pleased for Tom as he works so hard. He even came to see me this morning to let me know he was in school and that he was going to go and do some revision.

Please let him know how proud I am of him.

Kind regards,

Mrs G McAuley
Director of English

:D It was such a lovely surprise to receive that, apart from at parents evening we don't usually get any feedback as reports are simply a table of numbers with no comments.
