Christmas Films

Another favourites thread ;)

We watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on Sunday, my ultimate favourite and one which I've watched countless times but still laugh loudly at  When Joe was poorly the other week he and I watched Elf which is another favourite.

I'm a massive Alastair Sim fan. I adore his films. :)

When I was about 7 or 8 I was in Edinburgh with mum and dad and up by the castle were a couple and dad (also a huge fan) pointed out it was Mr Sim and his wife. :) :)

Just strolling along they were and nobody bothering them. :)

See, I wasn't feeling Christmassy when we started this - but today, when decorating the tree, with the Christmas CD on, I thought, ooh, it must be nearly time to watch Love Actually again :x :) :D :x

I liked it at the time, but for some reason these days I can't stand Hugh Grant - once upon a time I really fancied him :?

A Muppet Christmas Carol is a must in our house. Even though my boys are 25 and 28, they can still sing along  They now need to bring their girlfriends to a special Muppet and pizza evening over Christmas
