Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 02 Aug 2025, 06:01

Good morning.

Whilst I'm enjoying very pleasant weather over here Don gives me his daily report of blast furnace heat from the sanctuary of the pool.

Arrived back in Nottingham on Thursday after a perfect train journey. :D

This morning I'm away for a long walk. :D

Sainsbury's for food shopping. :D

Craig's making dinner tonight and we'll watch something on Netflix. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is 19C but we have sunshine and clear blue skies.

Going to town to arrange an hearing test. Several people have said I shoukd have one as sometimes I do not hear what people are saying.

THen back home will load the old carpet into the car so I can take it to the dump tomorrow. I will be one of the first in the queue.

Then ironing. And I have aother load to put in the washer.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

#Lovely and cool earlier, warming up now.

Small pots watered, washing out and two holes dug for trees to go in :Hi: Grumpy is now in for a shock, as he's just gone down, into the garden, thinking he has to dig a couple of holes

Into Ourique later this morning, need a couple of bits and bobs. Back for breakfast and then I'm making a rice salad for tonight, as we're off out to a friend's house.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Up at silly o'clock for our weekly M&S trolley dash. It was quite chilly when we left, but it's brightening now and the sun's out. We were thinking of going for a walk later, but looking at the garden decided it would be better if we spent some time having a good tidy up. It's been quite windy so the palm leaves are everywhere and as we didn't get the front done last time we were out there it needs a bit of weeding.

No other plans, expect we'll be cream crackered and need a good sit down this afternoon

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s not as nice as I thought it would be when we got up. We had a nice time dancing last night, then started to watch something on tv when we got home and got to bed later than usual so it was almost 9.30 when we got up this morning. I’m wearing shorts and a top but I think warmer clothes are needed, the sun keeps trying to come out but it doesn’t last long. Edward is currently watching the rugby from Australia, a nice piece of ham is cooking away in the slow cooker, I will fold some laundry but otherwise have no plan for the day. Given the later night, a snooze in the chair could happen.
