Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 23 Jul 2025, 06:28

Good morning.

It's so nice being in 'normal' sunny temps whilst it's so hot at home.

Off to Scotland today. I'm getting the 10.45 train and travelling first class. I thought s*d it. I'm worth it.

Meeting my friend Michelle and staying at hers tonight.
We're going out for a bite to eat. :D

I'll be checking into the Airbnb tomorrow at 1pm in readiness for sis flying over early evening. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sunny, cloudy and cold in the wind. Hotting up from tomorrow.

Watering done, rabbits cursed  just having coffee, then off to Ourique, for the normal supermarket run.

Back to for breakfast and then find something to do. I always find something

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning Ally & JanB
Ally, I usually travel first class on the train. I have done it when i have come to brum and had breakfast.

It is 19C with lots of grey clouds but no rain

This morning I am going to put a deposit on the carpet which i am going to have fitted in the bedroom.

Then going to Chorley to have lunch with some friends.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, sun and cloud here and currently 16 degrees. I have an appointment with the doc at 11.30 to push forward a bit about the lump on a nerve on my hand. At least I would like it xrayed to confirm what it is, then see what can be done, if anything. On the way home, I’ll pop into a shopping centre for a quick mooch. Might do some ironing when I get home, might not. Edward has gone to the golf club, he was having problems with his caddy car yesterday and wants to try a couple of fixes. If it is the battery, it is still under guarantee which is good.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, showers forecast through the day.

Up extra early as I need to pop to the hospital to pick up some cream. Should be hearing from my son this afternoon, hopefully he's progressing well.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
MrsC is off helping our daughter.
Nice and sunny here but a fair bit of cloud too.
MrsC's uncle Jim passed away this morning.
He kept falling over and ending up in hospital.
Last time he was in he got sepsis and pneumonia, recovered but then seemed to lose all his strength.
Son and gf are in Cyprus for a well deserved break. They've sent us some photos, it looks great.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Happy travels, Ally - and you're definitely worth it!. :D ;) xx

There's always something Jan  xx

Enjoy your lunch, Cruiser xx

Hope you can get your hand sorted, Osc xx

Jen, I hope your son is doing ok xx

Crommers, so very sorry to hear about Uncle Jim :( xx

It's much cooler here today, feels pleasant :) I met my friend J in town for a cuppa, then Mick picked me up and we popped to Tesco. Got some washing on, and have just ordered a new iron as my old one is on its last legs. It's a steam generating one, like the current one.

Love to all xx
