Good morning.

Sunny and a lovely 30°. 8-)

After a little walk I'm planning on lying on a sun lounger reading.

TV tonight and a Chinese takeaway.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dunno what's happened to our weather, but it's grey, cold and ore rain to come  We even lit the fire last night :o

Not sure what we're going to do today. I really should do the ironing and cleaning, but I might just have a slob out day and sort them out tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Al, Jan and all, it’s sunny although quite cool.

I’m up playing with George, we’re going to walk him once John gets back from Parkrun (not that he’s gone yet, he’s still in bed). We’re planning to take him to Hednesford Hills which was our usual Saturday walk with Bill.
He’s proving to be a good guard dog anyway  He woke us at 12.30am by barking, he’d heard Joe’s key in the door and wanted to go down to see what was going on.

I need to do a load of washing and we’ll go out for a run around various shops before Joe leaves for Jade’s mid afternoon. I really do want to finish reading a book this weekend too.

Really pleased to see Grumpy’s good news Jan x

Have a good day all :D

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

Itb was 16C when I got up and went for the paper. The sun is out but thereare some clouds so it will not be as warm as yesterday.

Am going to town as i forgot to get some things yesterday. Will alsp put the washing on. The basket is getting full again.

Have got my renewal notice for my house and contents insurance. It is due on 1st June. It has increased by a massive 1.3%, or in real terms £3.17.
I will be renewing with the same company later this month. One of the cheapest but with the cover I want.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it was gorgeous just before 7am, cloudy by the time we got up at 8.15 but seems to be clearing again. Edward has put a bolognaise sauce in the slow cooker and is now out on the terrace putting back the flagstones he had lifted for the leak proofing. I have ironing to do and also need to book a train for going away to Rosslare on Monday week. We get free travel but I’ll upgrade us to first class as it doesn’t cost very much. My sister said she might call later. I’m practising wearing my Scholl flip flops ahead of our holiday, painted my toenails last night for the first time this year. I reckon my feet will get cold later so it’ll be back to socks!

Great news about Grumpy!

Morning everyone :)

Ally, that sounds perfect :) xx

Think we’ve got your sunshine Jan ;) xx ;)

George sounds like a great pup, Jo :) xx

Cruiser I had to renew my life insurance recently, as the old policy was tied to the mortgage which we paid off. Twice the premium for half the cover! The joys of getting on a bit :P xx

Free travel sounds amazing Osc! I have my free bus pass now, but if it included the train I would be thrilled ;) xx

We’re out having breakfast in the sunshine while it lasts! Just the usual Saturday stuff here.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

We were up and out by 8am, desperately needed to do a trip to M&S to stock up, the fridge and freezer was looking rather bare. Couldn't get over how many people were walking around with bare arms, I was freezing!! Thank goodness the back of our bungalow is fully south facing, nice and warm now. All the holiday washing's done, just a few bits of the 'normal' stuff to do. Nothing planned for today, I'm cream crackered

Hope you all have a good day xx
