Morning Ally, morning everyone

We had some rain during the night and it is still rather cloudy and cool.

I am off on a jolly this morning, with a couple of friends to Milfontes, on the West coast. Hopefully, the rain will hold off.

I made an appointment for Molly to see a vert this afternoon, but she seems much perkier this morning, so I might cancel it. Also need to ring the hospital in Lisbon, to confirm transport for Friday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning Ally JanB and anybody else who is up.

Itb was 16C when I got up and the sun is on full steam so it should get warmer.

Going to B & Q this morning for a few things. Will then finish putting the plants in which I got yesterday. They are going in the back garden.

Have also got some phone calls to make.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning you three and everyone.

Ally, you remind me, I need to book a hair cut. Enjoy the lunch with David
Jan, enjoy your jolly, need to google where you're going. Hope Molly is OK :-(
Cruiser, happy shopping and then happy planting

Another office day for me. I'm on the later (7.53am) train, giving it a go to see just how much past 9am i get into the office. Monday I left the office early to catch the 6.20pm slow train home, and it was delayed so only got to my home station 10 minutes before the 6.53pm fast train did. Yesterday I left 20 minutes past 6 to catch that fast train and again that earlier slower train only got in 10 mins before. So hoping what I'm doing today is the right balance. Get in 10 mins late, but stay 20 mins longer.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy that sunshine x

Morning all, another lovely day here. Edward is doing stuff out on the terrace making it hopefully even more leak proof - he thinks he found where the recent leak came from. I’m off out shopping - I did a comprehensive review of our travelling medical kit yesterday, threw out unused or out-of-date stuff and need to replenish it. I also checked sun creams, got rid of the practically empty ones and decided what we need. I have a charity bag for TK Maxx and might see if I can get another pair of cropped trousers. I also need a new battery in my watch. So my list is quite long! I know we are not going away until the 26th but this is one job done well in advance. Enjoy the sunshine everyone!

We are waiting for a call fro the washing machine man. He is going to take away the washing machine, fridge and cooker. After that we take meter readings and hand the keys in.
I hope Molly is OK Jan.
It's a beautiful morning here. Salad for tea again.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Yes Kaz, nearly done now hopefully. We've taken meter readings, the white goods have been removed, bank notified, council housing notified.

Crommers, the house next door to my Dad has had to be cleared out and the council are in there working now.
The family moved in at the same time as us in 1970 when the houses were new builds and the last family member living there, Jackie, died recently aged 74.

It’s a council house with three big bedrooms I can’t help but worry who my old Dad will have as new neighbours :?
