Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 29 Apr 2025, 03:36

Morning everyone

Bit early, but we went to bed early, not having any lecky, so now I'm up

Quite mild and we're expecting a sunny day, although rain  is forecast for later.

I got a blister on my hand from weeding yesterday and the wind was blowing a hooley, so no strimming. Hopefully, can get that done today.

We had planned on going shopping today, but Pingo was shut yesterday and Aldi was stuffed, so will probably leave it until Thursday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 25°. 8-)

I'm awake early as Don is up to take a friend to the airport although I can guarantee I'll be back sleeping as soon as he leaves.

We had a power outage yesterday from noon till 5pm.
We were by the pool and only knew because the twins put it on our family WhatsApp group.

But watching the news later it did seem to cause chaos in shops, airports, roads, etc.

I'm meeting a couple of friends for coffee and cake so will get the low down.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Jan...I went walking with Ely yesterday and she was telling me her and her hubby toured Portugal in their camper van over Easter and it rained most days all day.
Good job they get on well.

Yes, it was a rubbish Easter. Cold, wet and windy

Yes Cruiser, we were affected, from 11.30 until the early hours. First <I knew about it was when Steve rang, as I was out in the garden. But the bar was open and the beer was still cold

Morning all, it’s a sunny and warm one.

I was out walking George before 7, it’ll be too warm for him later. No other plans for today but I reckon I’ll be doing more than my fair share of removing a tennis ball from underneath the TV unit

Jan and Al, I was wondering how you were both getting on when I heard the news yesterday x

Safe journey to Jen and E x

Have a good day all!

Morning all, a nice one here too. I have Edward’s winter dressing gown in the wash and will get it out on the line shortly - I’m not prepared to move to my light summer one yet ;) I’ll change the bed and start getting the bedding washed as the weather is forecast to be good the next few days. I washed a pair of Skechers in the machine yesterday, I haven’t done that before, it will be interesting to see how long they take to dry. I seem to have maybe a bit of a sinusy dose and feel a bit sluggish but will get out for a walk. Edward has gone to play golf - he was up earlyish as he wanted to walk to the club, but kept getting interrupted by dance-related WhatsApps :D Right, general tidy around first then on to my list. I plan a visit to Boots tomorrow so want to check out what sun creams we have and also if our medical kit needs anything replenished - we go away in less than four weeks. Might clean the bathroom.

Good morning.
Nice and sunny here but not overly warm as yet.
I'm glad that Iberian VVers have got their power back!
MrsC is babysitting this afternoon. I don't know what I'll be doing.
Safe travels to Jen.
Tell me about tennis balls Jo, we've got two under the passenger seat in the car.
Salad for tea tonight.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Hot :D 8-)

We had a great day at Crystal Waters yesterday, a lovely way to spend our last full day. We are so going to miss the lovely weather, definitely going to work on a plan to come back next year.

Our flight isn't until tea time, so we don't have to leave the apartment until 1ish, but we can stay here until we have to make a move to the airport. Just a few last minute things to pack and then we're done.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, Jan, thought of you 're the outages, glad it's over 8-) .xx

Jen the weather here is beautiful right now, so you're easing back in he got ;) Safe journey xx

*Waves to everyone*

It's been 25 degrees here. :) We've taken advantage of it, going out early for brekkie, then a nice walk with our Daze. Round to D's afterwards, she blew a tyre yesterday - luckily only yards from home - so Mick took the wheel off and got it to the garage to replace the tyre. Got my washing dry this afternoon, and made a chicken salad for dinner.

Love to all xxx
