Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 25°. 8-)

We had a lovely time yesterday with Jim. He and Don went to St Philip's School together so have fifty five years of friendship between them. :D

He's been cycling in Africa for the last three weeks but is going home today.
His next trip is Peru in September. He has a pair of fine strong legs.

Don and I will go to the church at 5pm to watch the start of the Easter processions.
I've always loved them and it's always been my favourite time of year.
This will be our last time watching them here and I feel a bit emotional but I'm sure wherever we end up living they'll be just as good. :cute:

We've booked a table for dinner as absolutely everywhere will be jam packed.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and not warm. I am now soooo fed up with this weather

Talking to Rita last night, she has never known an April like it and she's Portuguese

I had hoped to get something done outside, but looks like another day inside. Good job I have some books, going through them rather quickly though

Will make a curry for Saturday and we have favas for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ahh, that will be happy/sad then Ally, but exciting with a move to plan :D 8-) xx

Very odd weather then Jan! :? xx

It's sunny here today, but a bit chilly so far. Thursdays are good shopping, so we'll be going to Tesco with D. On route we're dropping B and Daisy at the station, as she's going to her dad's for Easter. I will miss my little girl - oh, and B of course! :P ;) No Pilates tonight as it's the school holidays.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morningeverybody.

Winter is back! It was only 13C when I got up and went for the paper. So the CH is on. The sun is out so it should get warmer.

Going to the library this morning to do some more research on my family history. This is on my father's side.

This afternoon will finish tidying up after the new towel rail has ben fitted in the bathroom. It includes cuting up the large cardboard box in which
the rail was delivered so it will fit in the wase bin.
Ally, on a holiday to Malta we saw one of the parades one evening. Very colourful, noisy but enjoyable.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning everyone.

This week has been Hell!

I have had hospital appointments, GP appointments, banking, insurance, gas and electrical inspections as well as the normal things such as shopping and living!

I actually had another hospital visit this morning at 7:30 AM!!!

I am now back home. The sun is out but it is ever so cold!

I'll have a late breakfast and just chill for the rest of the day.

Enjoy yours, however it goes. xx

Morning all, it’s sunny yet cold.

There’s washing on the line and it’s quite breezy so I’m hoping that’ll dry today. I’ve painted my nails too, they’ve been neglected this past week so look much better now.

Football tonight with Joe, John’s not been on his own with George yet so tonight’s the night. He said he’ll take him for a walk. We’ve been taking him out when it's a bit quieter in the evening. He’s not keen on traffic (we may only see one or two cars but still, and thankfully none passed us last night) so we’ve been taking him around the corner to the common and he loves it once he’s on there. He’s always happy to get back in the house though so it’s a good sign that he considers this his home and a safe place :D

Hope next week is better Frank, and that the appointments have all gone okay x

Kaz, safe travels to your girls!

Have a good day all :D

Morning g all, it’s beautifully sunny here and was quite warm when I was hanging out washing, but it was sheltered from the wind on the terrace. We had a bit of a lie on this morning as we were tired after our couple of nights away. We both have hair appointments later on. Kellie won’t be here today, she is at an activity camp in school and going to her cousin’s house afterwards. I need to renew my prescriptions and take out some money.

Good morning.
Sunny but chilly.
Not much on today.
A bit tired and stiff this morning so we'll probably be taking it easy.
MrsC saw a fox down our road last night. I'm not a fan of foxes but if they manage to carry off a few pigeons that might change!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We had a lovely meal at Harlequin last night, the owner comes from Reading where Ed grew up, small world and all that. I'd forgotten how busy St Lawrence Gap gets at night, it was absolutely buzzing, people everywhere. It's very lively and we're not really party people so it wouldn't suit us to stay there. Daytime is much quieter, but I can see why families and the younger crowd like it so much.

Another day at the beach beckons 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx
