Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 11 Feb 2025, 07:18

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 22°. It really feels like Spring. Yesterday I noticed almond blossom everywhere and the birds seemed very vociferous.

My usual walk shortly. :D

Don bought a load of clothes yesterday and when we got home he found one of those plastic alarms under the hood of a parka type jacket. No wonder the alarms kept going off every shop we went in and out of.

He'd got it in Carrefour and used the self service system.
It took him absolutely ages to carefully wrangle it off.

A quiet day at home for me today reading and relaxing. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

How's Fraggle doing Kaz? xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet :Hi: And sunny   But windy and cold out there. 18C for us.

I had forgotten to bring the cushions in last night, so have had to leg it outside and get wet, before they and the wooden table top, got too wet.

Off to Ourique soon, drop the Honda off at Mario-s, for the MOT. We will stop at Aldi on the way home and get some lovely bread, cheeses and other stuff for breakfast.

Then just light the fire and wait for the hopefully, passed, come and collect your car, phone call.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning you three and everyone

Ally, that made me laugh re the tag; it's so frustrating when that happens, but glad Don managed to get it off without causing damage.
Jan, fingers crossed for the car.
Cruiser, hope you get everything you want

and all three, enjoy those respective chill afternoons doing not much

about to leave here, I didn't manage to get to Thomas yesterday so we rearranged for this morning. Then back for a call at 12.30 and then nothing else planned.

have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s another grey and drizzly one.

Joes got a nasty cold so is in bed, he started to drive to work yesterday before turning around and coming home. Colds don’t usually bother him, he’s been known to go for a run when he’s got one in the past, but this has really knocked him off his feet.

I binge watched Am I Being Unreasonable? yesterday. Enjoyed it, though I think I need to watch it again to try and make sense of some parts of the story. Fantastic little cameo of two people in it though

Al, that happened to us. We’d taken Joe into Birmingham when he was three days old and the alarms were going off in every shop. It turned out that there was a security tag on the underside of his pram, Quite odd as we’d bought it from Mothercare, the box was factory sealed and hadn’t set off their alarms as we’d left. An assistant in Next suggested it might be the pram so we went into Mothercare and they found it straight away as it was quite a common problem.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

We're popping into town later, couldn't get my watch sorted at Westwood Cross last week, the jewellers there had run out of batteries :o If the rain stays away we'll park at Waitrose and walk down the hill, we could both do with some exercise.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Jo, same for my nephew Thomas; he usually just soldiers on, but this time round he's been in bed running a temperature for about 3 days and only just getting over it... it really seems to be a whammy this time round

Afternoon all :)

That was lucky Al, because sometimes those things let out dye as you prise them off - to discourage shoplifters  xx

Glad you got those bits in before they got soaked Jan :cute: xx

Afternoon Cruiser xx

Good luck with sorting that email for T, Ria xx

Hope Joe feels better soon Jo xx

Hope you get your watch sorted Jen xx

Same weather here too Saundra xx

Grey and damp today - again  We went out for breakfast, then round to see D. She's just had her hair done by the mobile hairdresser, goodness that perming lotion stinks! It looked lovely though 8-) Getting my hair cut and coloured tomorrow, good job too as my fringe is like one of those Old English Sheepdog's

Love to all xxx

Al, I missed your question about Fraggle. On the whole he's quiet, still eating and drinking ok - but he looks a bit frail to me :? Thanks for asking xx
