Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 09 Feb 2025, 06:41

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and 21°. 8-)

I'll get my walk done in an hour or so. :D

We've got bacon rolls for a pre-rugby brunch.

Don and Conor will be rooting for Ireland and I'm team Scotland. :D

Conor will be heading back home around 7 as Lucia will be getting home around then too from Nerja.

It's been a great weekend. He's such good company and like his brothers very quick witted which makes for much laughter.

A quiet night in tonight for his parents watching TV.

Have a lovely day.

Morning everyone

Fog now gone, just a grey day, although sun and 19C is forecast.

Cooked breakfast for us, all leftovers, so will be interesting

Friends coming up later, to sort out the new aerial for the starlink thing, Doninic is also going to repair the chimney from when we took the other dishes down.

Grumpy has to spruce the car up for it-s MOT on Tuesday. It now has to be clean inside out and underneath

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning all, it’s very grey and dark here, cold too. We will be setting off for Westport within the hour, we are bringing so much stuff  Edward is making some sandwiches and we will stop along the way to buy tea/coffee and use the loo. He has downloaded some podcasts for us to listen to. Looking forward to the few days. I still pop in to say hello, we will be home again on Friday.

Morning all :)

Grey and wet here. Just the usual Sunday stuff! Got a lamb casserole in the slow cooker for later. Fraggle is on day 2 of his new meds - he’s a bit quiet but otherwise seems ok, so fingers crossed.

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :D

Miserable and wet

Just noticed we have some primroses in bloom already. Also something that looks like an iris over against the back fence. The garden's covered in palm leaves so we really must get out there for a good tidy up as soon as we get a good dry day.

We slept in so just having brekkie, it's almost midday so I'll just do some toast and call it brunch  Roast chicken and veg for dinner, followed by raspberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly. DOI and Call the Midwife this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Just finished dinner. Roast chicken and a homemade bun for afters. Yum.
Grey and grim here and none too warm.

Currently watching India battering the English bowlers; time to switch over and watch the rugby in a mo.
Jen, it's lovely to see the first flowers. Spring is just around the corner.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s grey and drizzly.

Tom’s here as it’s his 28th birthday today, not sure how he’s that old. We’ve been for a walk around Wolverhampton and we’re shortly off out to the new Indian restaurant that’s recently opened in the village.

Kaz, fingers crossed that Fraggle is soon back to his old self xx

Have a good rest of the day all :D

Kaz, when I saw your Facebook post about Harry being 25 I was shocked….and I was even more shocked when I realised that Joe will also be 25 in a few months

Thanks, I think he’s had a lovely day. He’s just gone home with all of his presents and the remainder of his Colin the Caterpillar cake  The meal was lovely as were the staff, we’ll definitely go there again.
