A Happy New Year to all, and I hope a Peaceful one as well.

Some firecrackers let off around here, about 5 minutes late, but otherwise all very muted.

Mrs O and I had a trip out on 27th December just over the border to Mere to see the "Star of Bethlehem" Light Installation,
and we noticed two clumps of snowdrops already in full bloom in the churchyard, so maybe Spring has sprung unseasonably early this year ......

Ossie, I’ve got a crocus flowering in the garden. The snowdrops are only just breaking through the ground though.

It is very mild and sunny with passing clouds and no wind. It is nothing like the dire forecast from the weather people.
