I've just spotted these cute little pears on our tree.
In a few weeks we should have a bumper crop.

We have a pear tree that's been quite prolific over the years, but we have had hardly any blossom on it this year, so therefore no fruit Same with our damson and apple trees

What's caused that Osc?

Weather mostly - the east wind deposits salt, and we had the east wind for almost two months earlier in the year. Also the apple trees are extremely old and the poor weather in the last couple of years has ensured very few apples Mr. Osc used to make me lots and lots of lovely apple jelly too, I miss it

Aaah..that's a shame.
