Dinner tonight

Postby JanB » 07 Feb 2019, 17:39

Is pork and mint sausages, with a side dish of saute potatoes and cauli and broccoli bake.

Although when we came home, the smell of curry was rather a pull - I really had to say it's for Saturday

no idea what I'm going to have... open fridge, look, tut tut tut followed by a sigh, close fridge. Repeat those steps about 4 times and then end up with a packet of crisps and a glass of wine

I am having bolognese sauce with pasta shells and a simple side salad, followed by a decadent west country fudge yoghurt.

Pork with mint sausages sound good, I'll have to look out for some.

A local butcher does 'pork pie' sausages. They are made from his award winning pork pie filling, but at nearly £5 for a six finger bunch they are for special occasions.

Salmon and spicy rice for Mick, as I was going to Pilates, but my friend and lift, Em, isn't well, so I'm not going. I might heat some soup in a while, but as a stop-gap have just had a couple of ryvitas and cheese. I had an omelette and salad at lunchtime in Sainsbury's cafe, with D 8-)

Our traditional Thursday meal is cod cakes, mushy peas and pease puddin' - with tartare sauce.

Just a quick simple one as Mrs O is out at the local primary school as a voluntary reading listener in the afternoon.
