Clouds around this morning and they look like rain clouds and it feels quite cool outside.

Grumpy giving the car a clean - the dust from the track gets everywhere and I was going to spray the new weeds on the drive, but if it's going to rain, I'll do that tomorrow.

Taking the car in to be fine tuned this morning and then to pay Nelson for the pool cover. Will pop in and get some cheapo paint too. I'm so fed up looking at a cement wall. We'll only do the inside, next door can gaze at the grey part

Will do the supermarket run too and get that out of the way.

It is raining. We had heavy rain yesterday morning. This may last all day according to the forecast.
Out shopping this morning. Going to a furniture shop which is closing down. We have been invited to a special showing as we are old customers and mrs e is a distant cousin of the owner who is retiring.
Hope to buy two new mattresses for our beds.
Then just pottering inside out of the rain.

Well it's raining here, but for once I'm not complaining about it as everywhere is bone dry here, including my poor lawn! Seeing my client this morning, then stopping off in town to get a few bits and pieces, including some postal tubes for sending some of M's pet portraits to their destinations Pilates tonight, hopefully the rain will cool things down a bit.

Kaz, we had rain yesterday, but it's dry again today. But same as you the garden was very very happy to have a good soak. More rain expected tomorrow and Friday and same as you, for once not complaining.

Sort of usual work day for me - last day with bossman here; he's at a board meeting all of tomorrow and then away on his holiday / honeymoon for 2 weeks Then the last of the 'self-defence' course thing tonight which - dare I say - I am super happy about.

Wet! Very wet in fact, it is raining steadily and has been for a while.
Off to walk Dobby the film star dog soon. He will get wet through and I'll need to rub him down afterwards. What fun! As Miranda's mothr used to say. Have a good one everybody.

Change of plan

The car won't be ready until at least lunchtime, so we had to ring our favorite taxi - Antonia - and she picked us up and will take us back later.

So the paint, paying of Nelson and everything else will have to wait until tomorrow.

Morning all

It rained overnight, more promised for today, but so far so good. It's a bit dull but every now and then the sun's trying to peep out.

Managed to put the new BBQ together yesterday afternoon and then decided we'd better check to make sure it works so christened it with some yummy chorizo burgers. Can see it being used a lot, inside and out.

Was planning to go for coffee, but couldn't muster the energy to get up when the alarm went off We'll be popping into town later, need to pick up prescriptions and various other bits.

It's dry here now, but it must have been raining heavily during the night, as some of the
flowers in the garden are hanging their heads, almost to the ground.

It's a 'staying in day' for us today.
