to be sat in the garden on a warm Summer's evening. What is unusual is to be listening to Tom Jones singing live as you do so!

He's in concert at Kingsholm Stadium tonight, and the music is drifting over nicely 8-) 8-)

He's playing one of the Forestry Commission shows on the Chase in the next few weeks. It's him one night, Elbow another and Rick Astley is doing one too.

Ah, it's at the rugby ground, isn't it, Kaz ..... my pal from Bridport is up there in the crowd there tonight, it's his birthday celebration, apparently. :D

Mrs O asked him if he was intending to throw his knickers onto the stage ....

We went to two out of the three last year. Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott with John and Kaiser Chiefs with Tom. Not going to any this year. I like Elbow but not enough to spend £40+ on a ticket (x2). We can walk Billy and hear them instead

We did see Rick Astley a few years back though. He supported Peter Kay when he did some shows at the Manchester Arena and was actually pretty good, probably because his set list consisted of covers by Manc bands like The Smiths, Oasis and Happy Mondays rather than his own songs and he didn't seem to take himself too seriously, it was a fun set :P He did finish by playing his biggest hit though.
