When Miss Osc was collecting the children this evening, Kellie ran out the door (she is a runner ) and I caught her by the wrist - she pulled away and then cried, it looks like I might have pulled out her elbow (it has happened before ). Miss Osc is on her way to the children's A&E with her now. I feel awful

I did the same with my daughter and felt so awful about it, but the nurses and doctor who sorted it told me that it's a common thing, we react so quickly when we think the little ones are in danger.

Kellie will mend from this, that might not have been the case if the worst had happened.

They are on the way home and all seems well. The triage nurse manoeuvered it but it did not seem to have worked at the time. But eventually Kellie started moving the elbow, she was not in pain, and once the doctor saw she was moving the arm, she would be sent home anyway. Kellie insisted that her Mummy phone me from the car so she could tell me herself that she is ok.....it was lovely to hear the little voice calling out "Granny, I'm ok"
