Good morning. :D

David's picking me up at 8am :o as we're climbing this today. It's called the Sierra de las Nieves. (The snow topped mountain.)

It's going to take about an hour and a half to drive there and about 7 hours to climb....or so we think.

Needless to say we'll fall into Jose's for beer when we get back...whatever time that will be.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Good luck with the climb Ally.

Bright and sunny here, hope it stays that way all the way up to Wilts. We're busy dashing round getting ourselves ready for the drive, hoping to arrive so that we can check in to the hotel before going to see mother, the traffic is so unpredictable.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all! :)

Good luck Ally! 8-)

Jen, will be thinking of you ((((x))))

It's a gorgeous sunny morning here! We are going into The Quays a little earlier than usual so that B can drive us in and then start work at 11. Mick has been giving her lots of practice this week in Goldie, going with her as she drove into work and collecting her so she could drive home - her next test is looming :D 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning :)
It's absolutely beautiful out there today - to look at! Very cold and a ferocious, freezing wind.

That's some climb Ally, 7 hours! - fabulous reviews though :)
Bb's working of course, not sure what I'm doing, the sun is tempting but the wind is definitely not, it's not nice enough for a wander.
No doubt I shall find something :)

Some vibes would be good, some horrid news over the last couple of days.
On Thursday one of my lovely twin cousins had a horrendous headache, followed by memory lapses. She was admitted to hospital and had various scans etc.
Yesterday she was diagnosed with what they think is a cancerous brain tumour. She has been sent home for the weekend; on Monday she is going to hospital in London for a pre-op meeting and a biopsy. All completely out of the blue, very frightening and worrying.

Thinking of you Jen xx

Good morning all, it's a gorgeous morning here. It's not warm by any stretch of the imagination but the bitterly cold wind has dropped and the sun is bright. We've just walked five miles with Billy, Tom started work at 7.30 so once he'd gone we went out.

We're now in the downstairs living room with a nice cup of Tassimo Costa Americano. Only thing spoiling it is Wheeler flippin' Dealers in being watched. Off to see my parents this afternoon, we'll pick Tom up from work on the way home and then he's having dinner with us before going back to Wolverhampton. I've got a coffee delivery from Amazon sometime between 6pm and 10pm so it depends when that arrives as to whether I go with them. Joe's going to the pictures tonight with some friends to see the new Kong Skull Island movie.

Oh Di, what dreadful news. I'm sending lots of vibes ((((((Di))))))

Jen, I hop you have a good weekend.

Ally, just keep focusing on that beer at the end!

Kaz, enjoy a lovely sunny walk around The Quays :)

Have a good day all!

Good morning, all.

It's a lovely sunny morning here. We've been shopping in town this morning, stocking up on foodstuffs,
(and Easter Eggs) ready for the visit of my niece and her family from the USA in a few week's time.

Hope you are all enjoying this spring-like weather.

Morning all, glorious good-to-be-alive day out there. We were pitch side at 10am for Michael's football match this morning, he texted Grandad last night to ask him to go. Michael played very well, especially as he was tired from staying up to watch the Ireland match last night. Back home now, having a cuppa, then got h/work to do as we have friends coming tomorrow. Mr Osc is making an apple crumble cheesecake that we saw on FB, hope it turns out ok, plus he will make a lemon drizzle cake. Main course will be fish.

Jen, safe journey xxx Di, so sorry to hear about your cousin :(
