Morning everyone

Still dark outside but should be a lovely sunny day.

No idea why I'm awake, but sat here munching a little leftover dauphinoise potato

We're off to look around an "artisan" market in Ourique later (probably full of English and other foreigners, selling stuff at silly prices  ) then pit stop at the bar on the way back.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

We've had an early start, Mick got a call out at 6am so neither of us got any sleep after that  Hoping for an otherwise quiet Saturday doing the usual things!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, dull and breezy here and I'm waiting for my nails to dry.

John's just got up so once he's had his breakfast we'll walk Billy. I've also got to collect a parcel from the sorting office and then tonight we're having a Chinese takeaway with my sister and Rog and our parents. That reminds me that I must sort out some desserts.

Ton, there's a monthly artisan market in the small town where my parents live, it's not the right sort of place for it. I think artisan is just another word for overpriced.

Have a good day all!

Ally, what a lovely surprise!

Ton, I tried some "artisan" gin the other day, it tasted like liquorice; and yes Jo, it was overpriced! I hope you and Mick catch up on your sleep Kaz.

MrsC is off to dog sit for our daughter and son-in-law, who have bought a cockapoo puppy. They are going to a wedding today, she is a bridesmaid. So this means I'm on my own tonight as MrsC and her sister will be sleeping over at our daughter's house.

Soon I'll be off to get the papers and MrsC will be going to get her dad his Saturday fish and chips. She's a good daughter to him.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning all.

It's dry, but rather cool here. We've been shopping at Aldi this morning, and came back
loaded up with fruit, veg., and all sorts of goodies. Now we no longer have a car, we go
on a bus, and come back by taxi, and we're still pounds in pocket.

Hope you are all O.K.

Well, that was a waste of time

There was one veg stall - but we have lots of our own - one cheese, so bought some cured and fresh, one with presunto/chorizo and honey (but II'm getting a huge jar from Dimas), one lady selling jewelry and some cork things.

But I did buy a huge jar of mixed spices in Alentejana (a small supermarket and they also sell cumin   :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: ) and I'm now going to make a lot of broccoli soup :D :D :D

Then we'll pop down to the bar ;)
