Vocal Voices

So far today on the island we have the boats cancelled... The airport closed a plane has crashed on landing it seems.

A lot of reports of trees down and blocking the roads , also power cables down and lying live on the road.

We are all being advised not to travel anywhere unless unavoidable and to stay indoors.

The southern half of the island is worst affected so far but it is still windy here in the north as well.

We've been teasing my mom all morning and telling her to behave... her name is Doris

Blackpool is copping it. It blew the roof off Lidl. Port of Liverpool closed, aircraft grounded, trains affected badly. Oh dear. We are eyeing our fence with trepidation!

It's just starting pelting it down here - guess whose hubby has just gone out for a run?!

He can do it if he has to (get up early that is,not run!) but it doesn't come naturally
