So this is what you do...

... when you think that you have got as much toothpaste as you can from the tube, but still need that little bit more.

You put the crimped end of the tube on the sink edge and with the heel of your hand on the tube you then pull the tube between your hand and the sink and Voila!, more toothpaste.

However, I discovered that it is not helpful if the open end is pointing towards you and the floor. :roll:

I always do the squeezy thing but a) do it on a flat surface using the toothbrush for leverage and b) make sure the lid is on ;)

For face creams etc I cut the tube 2/3 from the top crimped edge and then manage to get loads more out that way

Ria, I do that with face creams too - it's amazing how much is left in a tube.

I always use a lip brush or cotton bud to dig out the stub of lipstick that you can't otherwise reach - there is usually loads left!
