Is a mince curry - with diced potatoes, ginger, garlic, chilli, frozen peas and proper chips.

Not had chips for a long time, so looking forward to them ;)

I had to add some tomato tinned, as it's waaaay to hot. Grumpy wanted something hot, so that's what he getting ;)

We go shopping tomorrow, so I was a bit short in the cupboard/freezer

John and Joe had chicken breasts which I'd sprinkled with Cajun spice with homemade potato wedges. I had salad and quiche.

Sorry Ton :D

Start the potatoes cooking, after 5 or 6 minutes add chopped leek and cabbage (lots). When cooked drain then crush/mash with afork, add seasoning and butter.
Put into buttered dish and grate cheese on top, bake at 180c for about 20 mins.
Or omit the cheese and have a fried egg on top :)

Yes Kaz, I started doing it like that many years ago while on a low-fat diet, but like it so much that's how we always have it :)
It makes a nice side dish for a casserole too, and easy if you're cooking for several :)
