So sad, isn’t it Jo :( Life can change in the blink of an eye, his poor wife with three young children.

And their poor parents, to lose two of their sons at the same time.

It is awful. His poor wife and children, and his parents too.
Apparently he had had lung surgery recently and had been advised against flying, so he was on his way to Santander to catch a ferry to England.

Three generations hit in a split second. So sad for them all.

Our doorbell rang last night at about 11, John answered and it was a Deliveroo driver with food for ‘Thomas’ at our address. Nothing to do with us.

Darcy next door, she’s 17, has just been around and was ever so apologetic about disturbing us last night with the delivery. I didn’t know what she was apologising for at first, it was something that happened, had no consequence and was forgotten about as soon as it had happened. Bless her for thinking to do that though.

I had to get the binoculars out, as I really couldn't make it out.

On one of next door's chimney's, there is something sticking out from one side.

It's a hand knitted stuffed owl

Presumably, it's to deter the sparrows and pigeons

Ha - over here our local yacht club (and others) use these https://www.lenehans.ie/defenders-flying-falcon.html. The seagulls just look at them and laugh!

I need to get a new air fryer / this one is about five years ole, cheap as chips one and is not doing what it should.

Chicken and clams with diced potatoes, that weren-t cooked that well. Not the first time so it-s out.

Just had some good news :Hi: :Hi:

A very good friend, who was rushed to hospital, then by helicopter, to hospital, is home.

Very frail, very weak, but home. The operation, he had heart failure during it / went well and all the new bits and bobs are working well.

And hopefully, on the mend :D
