Yesterday we ate the remains of so I am told "a delicious fish pie consisting of leaks, onions and spinach. Went down a treat. Tonight I made chicken curry with apricots. Rousing approval, now finishing off a bottle of Pinot Grigio..
We had chicken breast, stuffed wit hgarlic and local cheese, wrapped in parma ham, with deep-fried potatoes, brocolli, green beans, peas and a mushroom and garlic sauce
One of our favourites - and grumpy deserves it, as he came out with a fantabbytobby idea earlier.

I don`t feel obliged to do a roast dinner every week. I do it as we both enjoy a good roast. Also being older it was always a tradition --Roast Dinner every Sunday as we were growing up. My son and daughter seldom make a roast--when they do it is quite an occasion Another reason is that i find a roast is very easy to make
I make one most Sundays Lissie, apart from the middle of summer when we find it too hot to enjoy it and switch to salads and BBQ We love a nice roast, and they are easy, aren't they?
I love a roast dinner very traditional me Only seem to do them now when I have company Eldest family never do a proper Sunday dinner these days And I have to do a pudding as well
