I used to work on the 3rd floor of a building more or less overlooking Farnborough airfield, with glass all round. We would regularly stop work this time of year just to stand and gawp

We had a stunning sky last night too. I was at the Christmas market and at about 3.30pm it started to feel really dark, like it was going to rain.

By the time I got to my mum in laws it was a fantastic pink sky. They live really high up in the town and it was the most amazing view - over the rooftops to the hills, with a massive pink and black sky. I never thought to take a photo though
