Now where did that day go  We had a leisurely breakfast as usual and went for a stroll, not too far as I am still well below par. It was dry and cold and it was nice to be out. I thought I might go to Miss Osc's to wash the car, but Mr Osc put his foot down saying it was too cold and I wasn't well......nice to know he cares ;) I had applied for his ESTA form yesterday (wanted to get it done before Trump really got on the job :cute: ), it was authorised by today, so we went through dates etc. and have now booked flights and Washington accommodation - we will stay with a friend in Boston - for our trip in October :D :D :D Booked an apartment for six nights in Washington which looks nice, has good reviews and is in a convenient location. Looking forward to it already!

Chicken lasagne for dinner, don't think there is much on the telly this evening but I am sure we will find something.

We've been getting a stick that John has erm...done something with to stream tv shows - waiting till we know it is working ok before cancelling Sky, but think I might have to improve BB speeds first...

Sorry I haven't been posting much. Not a very happy time atm for me....almost 6 weeks without Smudge and yes I know I should be getting over him a little by now, but frankly I'm not. It's starting to affect my relationship as well...oh Tom's lovely most of the time, he even suggested going looking on a grass verge in the dark last night after a tip off (we didn't find a cat at all, it was a wild goose chase really) but I think he is reaching the end of his tether with me. #mustmakemoreeffort

Yesterday I just couldn't get warm! I went to bed for a spell after work, dressed in a long sleeved jumper, leggings, socks and a fleecy waistcoat - I STILL needed a hot water bottle before I started to feel a bit warmer!

I met an old friend for coffee yesterday - we went to Seaham and I felt really awful for her, she's had a life and a half (well, compared to me LOL) and sadly she's fallen back to earth with a massive bump - back in her mum's house in her old bedroom, caring for her poorly mum - very sobering. Oooo I am a little ray of sunshine atm aren't I??

On a lighter note, I am getting to grips with these new varifocals :)

Hope you are all ok xxxxx

TY hun - I think T is worried I am not putting it to rest....he doesn't think Smudge will come home and he sees me reading some FB posts where a cat has returned after many weeks or even months and he's worried I am getting my hopes up.

This 'limbo' of not knowing is just terrible. If he has died, I'd just rather know for certain than be left hoping.....
