I know I've popped in and out quickly but I still feel like I've been away
The drive home was hard work, lots of traffic almost everywhere, fortunately we did know one quieter road.
We stopped at Bb's mum and dad's on the way back; they were out so we had a walk down to the quay for our picnic, then back to see them.
Yesterday we did try to go to Sidmouth, on Cal's recommendation, and it did look lovely, but it was full! - nowhere to park at all, a bit like visitors coming here I guess
So we went on to Budleigh Salterton and got parked straight away.Stopped at a farm just down from where we were staying, they sell their own pork so we bought sausages for us and Bb's mum & dad, plus we got us and them great big bunches of freshly-picked runner beans (BB's mum's favourite, she'd rather those than a box of chocolates
)Eldest has now gone home, but this is youngest's usual weekend so he's here till Sunday
We've had a really lovely few days, not all that far from home but quite different.
