Afternoon chums and a very happy birthday to Bb

We were up and about shopping and ordering wood for a new shed.
I shall be making blackberry jam this afternoon. I made Lorraine Pascal's apple blackberry and cinnamon chutney yesterday

Afternoon all! It's a nice day here and fairly warm too. We were late to bed last night, but oddly enough I woke up at a normal time this morning and have had the energy to do quite a lot of cleaning and then sorting out summer clothes, plus putting aside some clutter for a jumble sale next month. Mr. Osc got a text from SIL saying he and Michael would be going to the driving range and would he like to join them - that was 1½ hours ago and no sign of them, wonder if they forgot to collect him? (although I can't see Michael allowing that to happen - he loves his granddad :lol:

) Going to tackle a bit of ironing now and will be roasting a bit of pork later on for dinner. Telly this evening. Have a good rest of the day everyone

Well we went out for some lunch at our fave cafe by the Docks, then wandered back through the Outlet - I spent £16 in Viners and for that got a square 8" GBB cake tin, a GBB sandwich tin, a very good quality pyrex-type mixing bowl and similar casserole dish with lid

What bargains!!

Then we popped to D's (MIck's mum) intending to spend an hour or two with her, but she was just rushing out to give Mick's Aunty J a lift to the hossie to see Uncle R - so we came home instead :roll:
