Crommers ,have you seen where a Spitfire crashed in Kent yesterday, no one hurt thank goodness.
We have 2 flying around here quite often, flying out of Solent airport which was HMS Daedulous in WW2,with 8 squadrons in situ.
British,American Canadian and Polish.
In fact this was the busiest airport on D Day.

No Vic I hadn't seen that.
It's good that no one was hurt; I hope that the plane isn't a write off, there can't be that many left.

Afternoon everyone :)

Glad everyone sounds well, and busy :) xx

It's been fine here today, but a lot cooler. Mick and I went out for breakfast - no B or Daisy as they were going out with friends. Caught up with an old friend of Mick's in Corretto's, which was nice.

Went to B&Q afterwards, as D needed some compost for the new tomato plants that Jeff is bringing up with him today - he and Jayne are travelling up from Weymouth later, after he finishes on the harbour ferry.

We had a late lunch about an hour ago - chicken breasts, greek salad and crusty bread - so probably won't bother with dinner. Am going upstairs now to put my jumpers and the last of my winter clothes away, so expect snow later :P

Love to all xxx
